Adding Roles

Roles determine what features users can access on CxEngage. That access is determined by assigning permissions to roles. Each user has a role assigned for their tenant. Users can belong to multiple tenants and have different roles for each. For example, a user can be a Supervisor for one tenant and be an Agent on a different campaign tenant.

To add a role to a new user's profile: 

  1. Create a user
    Assign the desired role by selecting it in the Tenant Role list in the Create New User panel
  2. Click Submit

To update the role for a user, refer to Editing User Accounts.

CxEngage Default Roles

There are default roles in CxEngage that are immediately available.

  • Agent
  • Supervisor
  • Administrator

Custom roles can be created by an Administrator if there are additional specific requirements for your tenant users.
